Joining The Dots On IDW's Doctor Who

DWlll.13.COVER.INKS.150.001 2August's solicitations for IDW's Doctor Who comics included the line;

"The climactic arc of Andy Diggle's first year comes to a shattering conclusion!"

Which would indicate subsequent years to come. However, from subsequent listings, that line seems to have disappeared.

IDW have a panel at this weekend's MCM London Expo. Tony Lee is on the panel.

The above appears to be Mark Buckingham's artwork from Doctor Who #13, for September.

Tony Lee is a big fan of Oscar Wilde. He has already written an Oscar Wilde/Sherlock Holmes crossover audio drama for Big Finish. I can't find a similar affection expressed online by Diggle.

I think Tony Lee is, once more, the ongoing writer of Doctor Who. Let's see what the weekend says…

Also, I have to wonder about the Prisoner Of Time anniversary series from IDW. A different Doctor each issue, twelve issues, they'll run out of Doctors. Unless…
