Peter Parker Endangers Loved Ones Again in Amazing Spider-Man #62

For a guy who goes through a lot of trouble to keep his identity a secret in order to protect those he loves (and who gets the occasional do-over on shockingly revealing that identity to the world), Peter Parker seems to have an unusually high number of people he cares about killed by his enemies. And next week in Amazing Spider-Man #62, it looks like it could happen again, at least according to the preview and solicit. At the Kingpin's behest, while Peter is galavanting around town in his costume, Bullseye has Spider-Man and Boomerang's pet, the tiny and docile Gog, in the sights of his rifle. Is this the end of Gog? Or does Bullseye have another target in mind… like a certain inhibitor collar? Well, maybe another of Spider-Man's friends or family will be killed by a rampaging Gog then. However you look at it, it's clear that Spider-Man has once again forgotten his greatest lesson: with great power there must also come great responsibility.

Check out the preview below. Amazing Spider-Man #62 is in stores next Wednesday.

Jude TerrorAbout Jude Terror

A prophecy claims that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Unfortunately, nobody can tell when the comics industry has reached its "darkest days" because it somehow keeps finding new lows to sink to. No matter! Jude Terror stands vigilant, bringing the snarkiest of comic book and pro wrestling clickbait to the undeserving readers of Bleeding Cool.
