Thursday Trending Topics: Are You Getting In On The Action?
To no one's surprise, the news today here and elsewhere was dominated by Action Comics #900. I've heard that sales are brisk at the retail level, the book is still in stock for reorder at the moment, but that civilians haven't started wandering into shops asking about the comic they saw in the news.
Yet. Because this was just day two, and I have a feeling this story is far from over. Here's what we know:

Action Comics #900 Is A Fox News Story Waiting To Happen As Superman Rejects God And America
Because in another story David Goyer writes a piece in which Superman gets involved in riots in Tehran – without using any kind of fictional blur as usually happens in DC Comics titles. Iran, Tehran, President Ahmadinajad, all named, portrayed on the page. And Superman protecting those behind the uprisings from an oppressive government's army through an act of non-violent protest. And in doing so causes an international incident for America, which leads to a confrontation with US government officials.

And now there seems to be a groundswell of movement against the website Heroic Art which sells recreation paintings of famous Marvel and DC comic book images (see image), again without credit or recognition to the original artist.

Misfits Season 3 Won't Feature Robert Sheehan, New Character Coming
From the queue for Movie X at Kapow: At the Misfits panel, it was announced that last we'll see of Robert Sheehan's character Nathan in Misfits, the show Rich calls " the hit superpowered comedy drama from E4″, will be an online "farewell episode".
This Green Lantern banner, premiered at MTV, asks "Can you name them all?" and I'm sure I know the answer already.
