The Case for Civility in Discourse in Excalibur #8 [Preview]

A lot of people feel that the discourse in today's world has forgotten about civility. Sure, a wealthy plutocrat may be hunting you down for sport in the woods, but is that really any reason to get nasty? That's the question posed by Cullen Bloodstone in this preview of Excalibur #8, by Tini Howard and Wilson Santos.

Excalibur need to collect the skulls of Warwolves for a magical ritual Apocalypse is planning, but unfortunately Bloodstone has already purchased them all from the London Zoo to use in a supernatural fox hunt at his palatial estate. He agreed to let Excalibur join the hunt, but when they used their powers, he felt they were unfairly avoiding the rules. The next thing you know, they'll be wanting healthcare as a human right and a livable minimum wage. Bloodstone wasn't about to let that stand, so he fought back by spending hundreds of millions of dollars of his own money to buy the electio… wait, sorry, got our wires crossed, we mean he used his own magical powers to attack Eccalibur.

Unfortunately, it seems he's unmatched here. He agrees to talk things out with Excalibur…
