Chillin' With The Dead In 'Graveyard Keeper' At PAX West
Ever since Graveyard Keeper was announced by tinyBuild, I have thought of nothing but playing this game! So when the opportunity presented itself at PAX West, I plopped myself down with their crew and took to my morbidly fun duties. If you didn't catch on by the name, this indie title from Lazy Bear Games has you running around as the main guy running a graveyard in what appears to be a 1500's town where they still burn people for being witches! You will attend to the dead, harvest organs, bury bodies, and collect money from the church to keep your home and other resources funded.
I had an absolute blast playing this as I got to basically be in charge of my own graveyard and do a lot of cool little things with the game that I normally wouldn't expect from a simulator game. Graveyard Keeper is set to come out on PC and Xbox One in the next few months, but no finer details were given out beyond that and no word on whether we'll see a PS4 or Nintendo Switch copy somewhere down the road. For all of the morbid implications, this was fun and I can't wait to have it on my system. Also, thanks to tinyBuild for the Hello Neighbor shirt!
