"Minecraft: Builders & Biomes" Brings the Action to (Board Game) Life
It's hard to believe that Minecraft has already been on this planet for a decade. There are full grown adults wandering around this planet right now that played Minecraft in elementary school. Let that sink in for a moment. Makes you want to shake off how old you feel with a little celebration, doesn't it? Fear not, the folks at Ravensburger have the party covered!
Played by 112 million people each month, Minecraft has made a name for itself as one of the most beloved video games of all time. Now, you can continue exploring the Overworld, build structures, and mine resources — this time through a shared, in-person experience with the Minecraft: Builders & Biomes board game from Ravensburger and developed in collaboration with Mojang.
Just in time for Minecraft's 10th anniversary and the holiday season, Builders & Biomes brings the beloved video game to life in your very own living room.
Earn points as you build structures and create the largest forest, desert, mountain, and snowy tundra biomes on your player board – all while defeating familiar Minecraft villains such as Endermen, Creepers, and other mob pop ups. Make your own cube by mining emerald, obsidian, and other blocks– the cube is different each time! Game scoring occurs as the resource cube's layers are depleted and once the final layer of the cube runs out, the adventure comes to an end and the builder with the most points wins.
