Nintendo is Bringing the Pokémon Go Play Zone to Seattle

During Emerald City Comic Con next weekend in Seattle, Nintendo is setting up a Pokémon Go Play Zone. The Play Zone will run through the duration of ECCC, from March 14th through the 17th, however you can take part in the Play Zone without needing a badge to the convention.

The Pokémon Go Play Zone will be set up at the Hyatt Regency Seattle which is just a short walk across the street from the Washington State Convention Center. Visitors to the Play Zone can demo the new Nintendo Switch Pokémon: Let's Go RPGs, take some cute photos, meet Pikachu and Eevee, and receive special Pokémon themed items.

Players who demo Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! will do so with the PokeBall Plus controller to use the Switch's onboard motion controls. In addition to the games, props and backdrops inspired by the games will be set up for memorable photo opportunities that can be shared on social media. And adorable Pikachu and Eevee costumed characters will also make special appearances to snap pics with fans.

Pokémon Go players who demo either Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! will have the chance to encounter Meltan.
