Pathfinder 8-Hour Game-Play Marathon Going On To Support New Humble Bundle

Fans of Pathfinder RPG games might want to tune in as Paizo Inc is putting on a live 8-hour Pathfinder and Startfinder gaming marathon on Twitch to benefit Camden's Concert, a Cystic Fibrosis research charity. It's to go along with their new Humble Bundle they're doing with Dynamite Entertainment featuring both comics and RPG items.

Kicking things off is "War for the Worldscape," a multi-genre adventure based on Dynamite's Pathfinder Worldscape comic, GM'd by Paizo Publisher and Pathfinder Worldscape author Erik Mona. The marathon will also include a live game demo and an audience Q&A with the Starfinder RPG design team. Pathfinder Society developer John Compton will host "Year of the Risen Rune" to wind up the all-day gaming marathon.

The schedule for the livestream is as follows:

5pm-7pm:      Pathfinder Society: Year of the Risen Rune (GM: John Compton)

The Humble Comics/RPG Bundle: Pathfinder Worldscape Ultimate Crossover Bundle is two-week campaign, featuring more than $600 of comics, games, and miniatures at a pay-what-you-want price of $1.00 or more. Bundle offerings include comics featuring Pathfinder Worldscape guest stars like Herbert West Reanimator, Vampirella, Red Sonja, John Carter of Mars, and Tarzan, while Pathfinder RPG components provide rules and adventures similar to the "anything goes" multi-genre events in the popular new Pathfinder Worldscape sword & sorcery crossover event (hardcover collection of issues 1-6 newsstands now). The bundle also includes a collection of four exclusive Pathfinder Worldscape one-shot comics (each with a short Pathfinder RPG appendix and a pull-out poster map), as well as four Pathfinder Worldscape gaming figures based on Red Sonja, John Carter of Mars, Tars Tarkas of Mars, and Tarzan. These special issues will not be available in stores, ever. They will be collected in the eventual Pathfinder Worldscape comics hardcover and a limited number with a Paizo-exclusive cover will be available months later for Pathfinder subscribers.
