People Are Finding Apex Legends Jump Pads In The Game

Since the big names seem to be taking ideas from Apex Legends, it seems only fair that they take some ideas from other games themselves. Shortly after the word got out that Fortnite has decided to make their own version of the respawn mechanic, players started discovering something familiar throughout the game as these green jump pads started making an appearance. They're not the typical weapon that you would pick up and deploy for your own use, they just seem to be randomly scattered throughout the island. However, some people on Reddit have discovered that a few of them can be bounced on in a row.

What is the purpose of them? If we had to take a guess, aside from adding something unpredictable to the game, we'd say there might be a mini-challenge coming for players to bounce to every single one of them in a specific order or maybe a time frame. But that's just guesswork, there's nothing really to prove that at the moment. For now, they've become a fun thing to use in certain areas of Apex Legends, so until their purpose is revealed, get in on it and have some bouncy fun!
