'PokéLand' Launches On Mobile To Continue The 'Pokémon Rumble' Series

Currently being tested in Japan on Android and iOS devices, PokéLand has been launched as the next chapter in the Pokémon Rumble series. Running until June 9 in an alpha phase, the game features 52 stages with 15 floors in the Champion Tower, with 130+ Pokémon to catch.

Aside from the need for wi-fi to play the game, the game uses a detector that will help you find new Pokémon every half-hour. Much like Pokémon GO, you can use in-game merch and devices to help catch them and power up your trainer and characters. Right now there's no word from the creators or any other website as to when we'll see a proper release, but it appears they are breaking away from keeping the game solely on Nintendo-based consoles like the Wii U and 3DS in favor of reaching a bigger audience.
