Report Says That The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Is Aiming For A June Release
It feels like forever that we've been waiting for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. In a lot of ways we have been too. Considering the Wii U debuted with footage of a Zelda prototype, and people expected an installment of the franchise on the console, you could say it's been around four years coming.
We do draw closer though, and it seems we could have an idea of when it finally will drop. Journalist Laura Kate Dale, who has led the charge on reliable Nintendo Switch leaks, has said on Twitter that internally, the company are aiming for a June 16th release date on the Switch, and a June 23rd for Wii U.
Of course, this isn't confirmed, but like I said, her leaks thus far have been very reliable. This would set the game up for a post-E3 release, which means Nintendo could lean on the title once again at the expo. That makes sense.
