Samurai Shodown's Confirms Ukyo to the Roster with New Gameplay Trailer
Continuing their weekly character reveals for Samurai Shodown, SNK has put out a reveal trailer for Iaijutsu master Ukyo Tachibana.
While the name might confuse you, Samurai Shodown is the 20th game in the Shodown series (and one of thee games to share the same title), however since it's been 11 years since the last game in the series, the title rebrand does make some sense.
For fans of the series, they'll find the game mechanics and atmosphere are the same from previous editions, just with upgraded visuals and some gameplay tweaks like an enemy AI that learns from paying attention to the player's game actions and combat patterns.
Samurai Shodown's roster includes the return of plenty of favorite characters, including Ukyo himself, alongside three brand new fighters. Last week's reveal trailer confirmed Nakoruru.
Samurai Shodown will release in June 2019 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One.
You can check Ukyo out in action in the trailer below.
