The Shiny Ho-Oh is Now Available in Pokémon GO Raids
The latest community day may have come to an end in Pokémon GO, but Niantic left a little surprise behind for players as it appears they've made the Shiny Ho-Oh available in raids. The company released a notice headed into the Charmander event that the character would be coming and they stuck to their guns without any technical issues (that we know of yet) as players have reported seeing the bird in several raids across the country.
Of course, because this is Niantic, this is going to be one of those limited time events, and you only have until June 7th to find one and capture it before they're taken out of the game and most likely replaced with some other shiny Pokémon. If you're having trouble snagging a Ho-Oh, there are also reports on Reddit and other community websites that a Shiny Charizard is also roaming the game for players to try and collect, if they're lucky enough to run into one as it appears this version isn't sitting at gyms or in raids. We wish you would-be trainers the best of luck in capturing both as Niantic slowly bleeds out all of their rare and legendary creatures every couple of weeks.
