Tonight Is Wooloo Spotlight Hour In Pokémon GO: Tips & Details

The Ultra Unlock 2021 Part Three event is ending in Pokémon GO, but one of its new additions is reaching for the Spotlight one more time before it leaves. Tonight is Wooloo Spotlight Hour in Pokémon GO. From 6 PM – 7 PM tonight, this Galarian Pokémon will be appearing frequently in the game globally, even popping up in normally inactive spawn points. In addition, it will respond more frequently to Incense. Let's get into the details and tips.

Wooloo will not be able to be encountered in its Shiny form for this Spotlight Hour. It is still a newly released species in Pokémon GO and it will likely be some time until we see it released in its (actually, very awesome) Shiny form. Personally, I feel like this Spotlight Hour is still worth grinding despite this Pokémon not being Shiny-capable. Why not grind out some Wooloo candy so you can get that big ol' Dubwool in your Dex?

The bonus for this Pokémon GO Spotlight Hour is double evolution XP. This is quite worth taking advantage of if you are still working on leveling up. Hell, since Niantic showed that Level 40 isn't the event, I'm sure Level 50 won't be either, so I'd say that XP is worth grinding for all players. I'd suggest playing the first half-hour with Wooloo, catching and farming Candy, and then switching over to mass evolution for the second half-hour. Be sure, though, to put on a Lucky Egg to take advantage of this extra XP.

Niantic has now announced the details for the September 2021 Spotlight Hours over at the official Pokémon GO blog. Here's what we can look forward to:

Tuesday, September 7, 2021: Spoink will be in the spotlight, and you'll earn twice the Stardust for catching Pokémon.

Tuesday, September 14, 2021: Baltoy will be in the spotlight, and you'll earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.

Tuesday, September 21, 2021: Skitty will be in the spotlight, and you'll earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon.

Tuesday, September 28, 2021: Alolan Meowth will be in the spotlight, and you'll earn twice the Candy for transferring Pokémon.
