Dambuster Is Keen To Distance Homefront: The Revolution From First Game
Adam Cook writes for Bleeding Cool…
Speaking to MCV, it appears that the developer behind Homefront: The Revolution, Dambuster, is happy to be removed from the original game. That is especially so for the case of narrative designer, CJ Kershner:
Everything is new for Homefront: The Revolution. It's a new team, new publisher, new style of gameplay, new backstory…
He goes on to explain why the game isn't called Homefront 2:
Dambuster is making its own unique mark on the name of Homefront, so anything that you remember or know about the first game: forget it now. It's not a continuation of that story or that style of gameplay. There's a reason we don't call it Homefront 2.
I don't think it's going to work, however, as it's very clear the game is…well, another Homefront, just one with a new developer and new (hopefully fresh) ideas.
