EA May Have Revealed The Next Battlefield Title Prematurely
There is a big Battlefield reveal event happening today, which is meant to show off the next mainline game in the franchise. The word had been that the series would be making a hard turn into something else, perhaps WWI, so some expected a subtitle to the game.
Well, read into this what you will. EA have tweeted this out to fan who wondered why Battlefield 4 and Hardline had entered EA Access. The official account said:
Battlefield 5 then? This could just be shorthand for the event by the person behind the account, and hardly confirmation, but if it is true, it might suggest that the game won't be going backwards in time, more in keeping with mainline series.
