World War Z Archives
World War Z is a cooperative third-person shooter developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive. It was released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2019. The game is loosely based on the 2006 book World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks. However, it takes place in the same universe as the 2013 film.
The game follows groups of survivors of the zombie apocalypse in Moscow, New York, Jerusalem, and Tokyo.
Four players group up to fight against hordes of zombies in all four cities, those players can choose from up to six classes including Gunslinger, Hellraiser, Fixer, Medic, Slasher, and Exterminator. Hellraisers focus on explosives while Slashers use melee weapons, and Exterminators specialize in crowd control.
The game supports up to 1,000 enemies appearing on-screen simultaneously and they can climb on each other to reach players on a higher level.
The game features five competitive multiplayer modes.
