Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX Also Showed Off Some Gameplay
Square Enix seemed to have an absolute blast at PAX East this year. We've gotten gameplay from most of their upcoming Final Fantasy titles and also some of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX. While this is nothing more than an HD re-release of both Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Rexchain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 365/2 Days (HD Remastered Cinematics), Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded it does boast a staggering amount of content.
That's six games all packaged together, which is a pretty nice bargain for those trying to catch up on any of the Kingdom Hearts saga that they missed either due to lack of a handheld or simple confusion over what the hell the damn titles mean. Do keep in mind, this will not be packaged with Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. But hey, it's got all the basics you need to try and make sense of the most non-sensical game plot I've seen in years.
This is a PS4 exclusive title though the other games packaged in it are not PS4 only (in fact this is the first time most of them are making their way to Sony's latest console) and it's set to make its way to us March 31st while boasting 60FPS speeds. Take that, PCs.
The video below shows off the updated version of the first Kingdom Hearts with updated graphics and increased frame-rate. Makes it a little bit sharper than you'd get on a PS2. But honestly, not sure this was the best thing to show off just weeks before the game's release. Sure, it's the first 10 minutes of the original game, but there's much more interesting gameplay to watch.
