Mighty No. 9 Has Finally Gone Gold Ahead Of June Launch

mighty no.9

Mighty No. 9 has had a 'troubled' existence, shall we say. The game was met with huge enthusiasm on Kickstarter, but that was nearly three years ago, and thanks to a lot of delays, as well as new crowd funding campaigns from Comcept before this game is even out, that has cooled a fair bit.

But it seems that finally, the game is on the precipice of being out. It's been announced on a blog by Kenji Inafune that the game has gone gold, ready for its June 21st release. This is for release on Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The 3DS and Vita versions will be with us at a 'later date'.

The story of this game certainly has dragged on, and I hope it has a happy ending. I wasn't bowled over by what I played a while back, but lets hope Comcast really found the Mega Man roots in that time.
