Monument Valley Developer Making Gorgeous VR Exclusive Land's End
Monument Valley has been a roaring success. The simplistic, yet refined mobile game garnered a lot of attention, and that was even before it made a starring role in House of Cards.
Well, developer Ustwo Games have announced their next game and it is called Land's End. It is a VR only game and seems to have you walking around an island in order to solve several puzzles. The game launches on October 30th, with this launch trailer announcing the title.
The only real problem for me is that this is exclusive to the Samsung's Gear VR. When put alongside the Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and Vive, it's a headset I don't see many buying into. Hopefully this game finds a way to survive, as it would be a shame for it to falter due to it's platform exclusivity.
