Reports Claims That The Nintendo NX Is A Cheap Mobile/Home Hybrid Console
So, it seems the penny is dropping on the Nintendo NX. A couple of reports from Eurogamer yesterday seemingly confirmed what we'd been hearing for a long time. That the Nintendo NX is going to be a hybrid console with home and mobile capabilities.
They claim to have verified with several sources that the console is a screen with two detachable controller modules on either side. You can take the console on the move, or place it on a port to hook it up to your TV.
It was also stated by MCV today that they are hearing the console is aimed squarely at the mainsteam market, and because of that "it's going to be cheaper than even the vast majority expect."
All of this is certainly interesting, and it seems from the reports that March 2017 is when we can expect it. This means we must be fairly close to hearing about the console officially. March isn't that far away in the grand scheme of things. I can't wait.
