Wolfey Glick Will Host Sword & Shield Super Smash Bros. Invitational

The upcoming Pokémon SwordShield Super Smash Bros. Invitational will be hosted by Former Pokémon World Champion Wolfe "Wolfey" Glick. Glick has decided to put an end to 2019 with a special tournament. The tournament will consist of eight teams of two, with each team getting one Pokémon player attempting to train the Smash player in VGC competitive battling.

The announcement came down earlier today with a complete list of all the competitors. The teams will be training between now and January 12th, both live on stream and offline in private. The invitational will then kick off on January 12th live on Twitch. It's an interesting concept that seems fun, but is also just insane enough to breed a special kind of chaos. We'll see how everyone does in the Pokémon SwordShield Super Smash Bros. Invitational in a few weeks.
