Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Announced For Xbox One And PlayStation 4

Borderlands is just a good time. I think it is as simple as that. Sitting down with a couple of friends to roll out across Pandora to grind for loot was one of the funnest co-op experience from the last generation.

Or, at least it was exclusive to he last generation.

Surprising no one, 2K Games have announced Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The rerelease will include Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and all DLC released for the two. The Pre-Sequel was pretty much buried by it's last generation launch at the end of 2014, but I've heard good things about it. Hopefully, a next generation up-rez will give it a second lease of life.

Crucially, you'll be able to transfer your saves over from the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. The game will come out on March 27th.

If you consider yourself amongst the Borderlands fan elite, 2k games are also offering a ludicrous $400 Claptrap-in-a-box Edition, which comes with the game and a remote controlled Claptrap. It's controlled via an Iphone app, has video streaming and says lines from the games. There have only been 5000 made so if you really want to drop some serious dollar on the pack, you better get moving quick.

Here is a video of it in action:
