Hotline Miami was really a bit of a phenomenon in terms of coming out of no where in the games scene and just taking everyone by storm. Soon it was all adrenaline rushes, pulsing neon colours and insane ultra violence. That first game was a potent cocktail that people couldn't get enough.
But how did it come to be? This wee documentary from Complex explores just that. It's only a half an hour long, and tells a pretty interesting story. If you are on lunch break or something. check it out. Learning how one of the most distinct games in the last few years came about is well worth it.
