The First Step From Jimmy Olsen To The Guardian

We know that Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) prefers to be called James in the new Supergirl series… and we also know that soon he'll take on a whole new name, Guardian. But here we get to see the first steps in the line where he goes from being sidekick to hero as he tries… and fails… to help Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stop a bank robbery. They may not be able to stop the bad guys, but we do get a glimpse that Olsen can fight.

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 PM on the CW.
