First Trailer For Joe Swanberg's Happy Christmas With Anna Kendrick, Melanie Lynsky And Lena Dunham

I really loved Joe Swanberg's Drinking Buddies and I'm a big Anna Kendrick fan, so this is already one of my most anticipated movies of the year. The first trailer for Happy Christmas, which debuted at Sundance earlier this year, certainly doesn't change that.

Kendrick gets to play the lead here, as an irresponsible woman who crashes at her brother's (Swanberg) house over Christmas and proceeds to totally turn his life upside down. Melanie Lynsky, Mark Webber and Lena Dunham are also in the cast, and they all improvised all their lines, as Swanberg is known for.

Happy Christmas, like Drinking Buddies utilized to success, will get a VOD-first (June 26th), theatrical-later (July 25th) platform release.
