Former Captain Marvel Writer Says The Film Is "In Excellent Hands"

We found out a few days ago that Captain Marvel is getting a new writer. There were a few people that thought this would be a bad thing, but many others just saw it as just another thing that happens in movies; not necessarily bad or good. When it comes to this Marvel film, the production was delayed, so former writer Nicole Perlman had to eventually move on. She took to Twitter to talk about the change in writer and to tell us that this isn't a page-one rewrite:

So all of the things we know about the movie so far, like the setting and the use of the Skrulls as an enemy, aren't going anywhere. Captain Marvel is set to start production early next year, which gives Robertson-Dworet several months to work on her new script.

Captain Marvel, directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, will also star Samuel L. Jackson. The film is set for release on March 8th, 2019.
