Life Is Strange Gets A Video Diary Explaining Production – PC Specs Are Low Too

I'm really looking forward to Life is Strange. The Square Enix published series from Dontnod is really shaping up to be something quite unique in tone and mechanics. The game is just around the corner too, so I'm hoping something great will come of it.

Here is a little video diary to get you into the tone of the game too. When I saw the game behind closed doors, the developers were really insistent they were going for an 'indie movie' aesthetic. You can see how they started to come to those decisions in the video.

The most interesting thing about the video is towards the end when co-founder Jean-Maxime Moris says:

Square is basically the only publisher that didn't want to change a single thing about the game. We had other publishers telling us, 'Make it a male lead character,' and Square didn't even question that once.

Moris actually said some similar things about Dontnod's last game, Remember Me when it was coming out. Hopefully publishers will get more willing to have female leads in the future.

Just as an added bit, here are the PC Specs for the game. If you have anything approaching a below average PC, you should be able to run the game.

Minimum:
