Madchen Amick To Play Alice Cooper… In Riverdale

madchenamickMadchen Amik, the actress from many series like Damages, Californication, Twin Peaks, Gilmore Girls, American Horror Story: Hotel, ER and Gossip Girl, has landed the role of Alice Cooper in the upcoming pilot Riverdale for the CW.

For those not familiar with the Archie comics that the series is based on, Amik will not be playing rock legend Alice Cooper… but rather local newspaper editor Alice Cooper who is described as a steely perfectionist who places exceedingly high expectations on her daughter, Betty (Lili Reinhart).

Riverdale is expected to make its debut next fall.
