Marvel Just Claimed Abandoned Spider-Man 4 Release Date

egfox_the_team_avengers_hd_by_eg_art-d5h0tzwAccording to the Hollywood Reporter, after announcing 5 new dates last week, today Marvel and Disney swooped in on the vacated date of May 4, 2018 just hours after Sony announced it delaying Spider-Man 3 two years moving it from 2016 to 2018 and bumping Spider-Man 4 off the schedule.

This adds a third date to Marvel's 2018 line-up that already included the recently announced July 6, 2018 and November 2, 2018. 2017 also has 3 movies scheduled for Marvel.

They did not announce which movie will take the May bow that will likely coincide with Free Comic Book Day… but speculation is that it will be Avengers 3.
