Mondo Music Release of the Week: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure!

Mondo releases new vinyl special editions every single Wednesday. They are they ultimate edition of whatever they put out, featuring extensive liner notes, brand-new commissioned artwork, and always have a limited-edition size. The vinyl itself is usually colored or a photo disc, as well. Basically, it's like the Criterion Collection of movie and gaming soundtracks. This week sees one of the coolest releases they have ever done, and one I personally have always wanted them to do: the soundtrack to Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure!

Dudes and Dudettes! Hot off the incredible Entertainment Weekly profile on BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC (the forthcoming sequel), this week we have a totally amazing new collaboration between us and our friends at Rusted Wave Records – available for the first time in nearly 30 years – the original soundtrack to BILL & TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE.

Mondo, in conjunction with Rusted Wave Records, is proud to present the original soundtrack to BILL & TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE. Originally released by A&M Records in 1989, the soundtrack to BILL & TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE is an incredible, anthemic '80s Rock and Metal mix-tape featuring songs by Bricklin, Extreme, Tora Tora and Power Tool. Special packaging includes a holographic jacket printed on 18-point silver board, Circuits of Time directory inner sleeve and insert, all featuring artwork by Matty Ryan Tobin.

Jump in the phone booth and travel through time on a musical adventure with 10 of the most triumphant Hard Rock '80s glam tracks in history! The Mondo online exclusive version is pressed on 180 Gram orange vinyl (limited to 1,000 copies) and features an OBI strip.

Mondo Music Release of the Week: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure!

As with all Mondo releases, this will go up for sale on Wednesday at Noon central time. The edition size for these releases are limited as always, and this one is no different at only 1000 copies. It's never worth the risk to wait with these — it will sell out. You can grab a copy of this today right here.
