Naughty Dog Confirm Uncharted 4 Will Have Multiplayer

What people might not remember though is that Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 had multiplayer modes. They were popular in their time, but neither really had great audience retention. Both were released during that period when every publisher was convinced single player games couldn't make money unless they had some kind of online multiplayer tacked on. Luckily, we seem to be moving past that phase (somewhat).
It turns out Uncharted 4 is sticking with its guns though. In February's edition of Game Informer, Naughty Dog revealed that multiplayer will be a feature. They didn't elaborate on what it would be though. The safe bet is that they will stay with the third person arena shooter set up. The hopeful bet is that they do something advanced with the new generation's extended connectivity.
I can't think of what they could do that would be wildly different in all honesty, but I would prefer a shake up. Maybe co-op missions or some kind of drop in system? Dark Souls style integration? Time will tell on that one. At the very least, I hope it is as decent as The Last of Us' was.
