Transformers One: The Animated Film We Wanted?
TRANSFORMERS ONE is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi with Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.
Along with the above image, the first poster for the film was also released.
When we all sat in the theater watching the first ten minutes of Bumblebee in 2017, our hearts were soaring at the possibilities of a CGI Transformers animated film and what it could be. I am not sure this is what we thought we would be getting, but I am more than willing to give it a chance. Casual fans of the franchise will find this story interesting, but I am not sure that fans of the series are going to embrace this. The ones I have talked to have given it at best a shrug and not another thought after. That does not bode well. We shall see in September.
