Nerd Food: Decadent Red Velvet Whoopie Pie from Disney's Hollywood Studios

Sweet Spells is a marvelous spot inside of Disney's Hollywood Studios that caters to those of us with a sinister sweet tooth. It's also a great spot to load up on your favorite Disney Villains gear. Plus, they have a wonderful Maleficent statue. It's my absolute favorite.

While there, I picked up the seasonal Red Velvet Whoopie Pie — in the shape of a festival Christmas tree. I don't normally eat whoopie pies, but I do eat Disney food, as you all are well aware.

Oh my lord. This was over-the-top, but so good. The vanilla cream was subtle and sweet — absolutely decadent. The entire thing was fresh, soft, and filling. The flavors complement one another exceptionally well. If you don't eat sweets terribly often, this is worth indulging on.
