Devil May Cry 5 certainly leaves an impression. What felt like a franchise unable to come back from the brink, now feels like one with a future.

Resident Evil Remaster Has Sold 1 Million Units
There's been a lot of indications that Resident Evil should go back to its survival horror roots of late. The last major title of the series, Resident Evil 6, had a scatter shot focus and didn't go down so well with critics or fans. On top of that, the more survival horror based Resident Evil: Revelations 2 just finished its five episode run and it received a very warm reception.
Perhaps, the best indication of Capcom's fans wanting a new game influenced by the original's roots is that Resident Evil Remaster has now sold over a million copies. The stat was announced today, showing that the classic formula certainly has legs for the series.
While I want Capcom to create the game they want to create, I hope this recent trend will inform their decisions going forward.
