Rob Liefeld Talks Wonder Woman, X-Men, Guardians Of The Galaxy In State Of Superhero Movies Twitter Address
Superstar artist and comics luminary Sir Robert Liefeld took to Twitter yesterday to share his opinions on the state of the superhero movie industry. To kick things off, Liefeld expressed excitement for DC's upcoming Wonder Woman film, which has been getting good reviews and seems likely to be a hit at the box office:
Yes, we frequently remark to our friends who are females, wouldn't it be great if more females would direct superhero films whose heroes are also females? "Females, females, females," we say, as they stare at us blankly wondering why we don't just say "women."
Liefeld also had some thoughts on the new Guardians of the Galaxy theme park ride, and how it affects Fox's ability to compete in the superhero space with their X-Men films:
Of course, Fox has something that the Marvel Cinematic Universe does not: the most popular Rob Liefeld creations, Deadpool and Cable. As a side note, can you imagine what an R-Rated Deadpool theme park ride would be like? Somebody please make this happen.
