Rosario Dawson Would Be Interested in MCU Return as Claire Temple
Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka) is interested in Claire Temple joining the MCU alongside Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll & others.
As much as Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury operated as connective tissue for the heroes of Phase I for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple (aka Night Nurse) did the same for Netflix's Defenders universe, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders as the only actor to appear in all five of those shows. While Claire possesses no superpowers or special abilities, her ingenuity proves invaluable to the heroes she helps. Daredevil spinoff The Punisher exists in that same universe, though the character played by Jon Bernthal wasn't part of the crossover series. While she's enjoying Disney's other major franchise, playing ex-Jedi hero Ahsoka Tano in the Disney+ Star Wars series Ahsoka, the door remains open with Disney+'s Daredevil: Born Again, which has been blending in much of the Netflix series' universe.
Rosario Dawson on Her Interest in Reprising Claire Temple
"I have to say that was one of the things that I signed the most while I was here. It's so great to be able to spend time with Jeph [Loeb]," Dawson told Collider at Fan Expo Boston. "We were at dinner last night and I got to see Vincent [D'Onofrio] and Charlie [Cox] and everyone. So I would absolutely love it… I would love to hang with them and play with them again. That was such a great time. And, you know, Marvel, Disney, they got my number, they know where I am." D'Onofrio and Cox have appeared in numerous MCU projects, starting with the latter's cameo in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home for Sony & Marvel.
Dawson shared her favorite MCU moment, which involved the Daredevil star. "I know some folks didn't love the walk of shame that [Charlie] did on 'She-Hulk,' but I thought that was fire. It was hilarious. You know, all is forgiven. I've had my coffee too, I get it." Cox appeared in the comedy She-Hulk: Attorney at Law which stars Tatiana Maslany as the title character that audiences saw Daredevil's red and yellow suit and the premiere episode of Echo. D'Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, had a much bigger role in the Alaqua Cox-starred series after making his triumphant MCU return in the series Hawkeye, which stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld.
