Screenshot Feature Should Be Coming To Xbox One Soon

It's pretty weird that the Xbox One doesn't yet have that ability to take screenshots. You'd think it would be an easy thing to implement since it can already capture video.

Not so, it seems, as we are nearly 14 months after launch and are still waiting for the functionality.

It seems that wait may be about to end though. Head of Xbox Phil Spencer took to Twitter to tease the functionality, taking a picture of himself taking a picture on his own development kit.

Honestly, I can't see myself ever needing to take pictures of a game I'm playing, but apparently the amount of people asking for it has been quite loud since launch. This should finally please them at least.
