The BBC has released the trailer for the Sherlock Special that has Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman reprising their roles of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson in a more traditional setting. This is a standalone special, not some kind of wibbily wobbly timey-wimey event involving a blue police box.

No date has been set for the special.
