The Writers, Director And Title Of The Constantine Episode Of Arrow
When it was announced that Matt Ryan would appear as John Constantine on Arrow, we we're told that it was going to be the fifth episode of the fourth season. Now executive producer Marc Guggenheim has tweeted out the cover sheet for the Constantine episode, called Haunted, and we find out it was written by Brian Ford Sullivan and Oscar Balderrama. It's being directed by John Badham.
So now we have the title… but the episode is marked as #404 with the note that it was previously #405 but will still air as the fifth episode of the season. Why the change? Most likely scheduling. If I had to guess I'd say that a conflict in schedule, perhaps with Ryan, forced the production to flip-flop the filming of the fourth and fifth episodes but they will still be shown in the planned order. The episode number is based on the order in which they are filmed, not the order that they air.
