Trump Ignores Fake News Propaganda, Looks Directly At Sun During Eclipse

Ignoring the repeated warnings of the fake news media to avoid looking directly at the sun during today's solar eclipse, President Donald Trump did in fact look at the eclipse without protective eyewear. According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, Trump looked briefly at the eclipse before an aide shouted "don't look," prompting the president to take out his eclipse glasses. The story was captured in pictures on Twitter (which Trump may no longer be able to see):

And yes, we understand. This is a comic book and pop culture website, not a political site. Blah blah blah some other complaints about an article you clicked on of your own free will after reading the headline. Look. Bleeding Cool is about more than comics. It's about more than pop culture. At its heart, it's really about one thing: clicks. And both Trump and todays's eclipse are two of the clickbaitiest topics around. Could we possibly resist a story that included both?

We'd argue that we could no more be expected not to write this story than Trump could be expected not to look at the sun.
