We've (Maybe) Found The Reason For That Metal Gear Rising '2' Tease
Last month at the Taipei Games Show, a mysterious 2 in the unmistakable typeface of Metal Gear Rising flashed up for a split second during a Sony sizzle reel. There was no context and no one referenced it or the game during the show. The fairly obvious conclusion was that that '2' was for a new game in the series.
Well, it turns out it wasn't so obvious. Maybe. If you believe Platinum Games, they have taken to twitter to reveal the tease was for new art celebrating the second year anniversary of Metal Gear Rising. Here is the tweet showcasing the art:

So, could Platinum Games really have just put a '2' into a sizzle reel to just tease the second year of the game existing? I mean, it is possible, but it seems like a cruel joke to play on fans. I wouldn't be surprised if we still heard from the game this year.
