Can they arrive on Earth in time? What of Vril Dox?
Justice League: No Justice #4 cover by Francis Manapul
Like the ending to Dark Nights: Metal, the ending to Justice League: No Justice is a massive party with all your favorite DC characters that makes little coherent or flowing sense.
I could break down the story and[...]

Citing a lack of respect towards rock music by The Grammys, Shadows says that it would a "waste of time and money" for the band to make the trip.

Dark Nights: Metal #4 from DC Comics by Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion, FCO Plascencia, and Steve Wands brings the DC event back to its core story after a short break and a number of diverting tales expanding on the monsters now invading the DC Universe and the torture of Batman in the[...]
She even managed to bring peace to her world, even if it is one soaked in blood.
Aquaman and Mera are frighteningly outmatched by her, showing how hopeless the situation for the Justice League has become in Metal.
Admittedly, the Drowned doesn't have as much going on as Dawnbreaker or the Murder Machine She isn't quite as[...]

Well, we have hit the mid-point of the main story of DC's major event, Dark Nights Metal, and Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion and FCO Plascencia really hit their stride with the series and the stakes for the DC Universe.
With Batman lost to the Dark Multiverse, and the Dark Knights wreaking havoc across[...]
Snyder said that he's working on something with Grant Morrison, connected somehow to #DCMetal No details were revealed on that, but it looks like Grant Morrison has got his magical fingers in all the pies since his return to DC.
Bleeding Cool ace reporter Dimitrios Haritos was on hand at the panel, and he'll be filing a[...]
DC super-mega-crossover event Dark Nights: Metal is getting its own soundtrack! And we're not just talking about a Spotify playlist Marilyn Manson's lead guitarist Tyler Bates is producing the six-track EP along with Warner Bros Records exec Mike Elizondo, as announced in a DC press release.
"As both a musician and fan of heavy metal music, having[...]
At the DC Metal panel at New York Comic Con, Greg Capullo revealed that he's been a little sick while working on Metal, so DC is giving him the month off In February, between Dark Nights: Metal #5 and #6, we'll get Dark Knights Rising: The Wild Hunt, presumably focusing on the titular evil Batmen. Scott[...]
He became the Dawnbreaker.
This Metal one-shot shows the darker side of Bruce's anger and will It shows what unlimited power could do in the hands of a man like the untested Bruce Wayne, and it's pretty ugly.
It also gets a bit eldritch, with this Bruce gaining access to arcane powers that were likely never intended[...]
Meanwhile, John Stewart learns that the Nth Metal Golems intend to free Yuga Khan, the father of, well, Highfather (Highgrandfather?), from the Source Wall John, Guy Gardner, and a division of Green Lanterns ride out to stop them before they unleash Yuga Khan from his prison.
This is another showdown issue of Hal Jordan and the[...]

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #28
Hal Jordan is in pursuit of Lightray of the New Gods in the hopes of saving he and Highfather from the Nth Metal Golems that are trying to wipe out their kind Unfortunately, Lightray is the God of Speed and among the fastest beings in the universe[...]
Greg Capullo is a legendary artist, mustachioed muscle man, and now, Bleeding Cool has learned, a totally bitchin' guitar virtuoso.
The Dark Nights: Metal artist took to Instagram this week to post a perfectly looping video of himself playing the guitar solo for the song Got Your Six by Five Finger Death Punch.

Dark Nights: Metal #2
OK, I'm officially on board with this story now.
While the first issue of Dark Nights: Metal was pretty good, I wasn't ready to proclaim its quality from the rooftops or anything I wasn't completely enthralled, but it had merit and deserved some praise for that.
That has changed with Metal #2.
With the[...]

Beware, this review does contain mild spoilers for Dark Nights: Metal #2.
Dark Nights: Metal #2 comes out this week and gives us the next part in the wild, crazy DC event, and it really does continue to be something quite unlike anything that's come before.
Dark Knights: Metal #2 cover by Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion[...]
And he has returned to that famous cover for Metal #3, with the Dark Knights from the Dark Multiverse, twisted versions of Batman expressed through aspects of the Justice League…
This also gives us the first look at a few of the characters, such as the Joker version of Batman, dead centre.
Is it just me, or[...]
Orion is a great character, and the implications this has for the DC Universe as well as Metal are promising.
By the way, this is sort of a Metal tie-in, with the narration from last issue going on and on about metal Also, the golem is made of Nth Metal.
The action is still great[...]
While The Batman Who Laughs will make his first appearance in Dark Nights: Metal #2 on September 13, the Robins Who Laugh will appear that same day in Teen Titans #12, a Metal tie-in that serves as part one of the mini sub-crossover to the super-mega-crossover event: Gotham Resistance.
Just take a look at the gruesome[...]
There is still something to talk about in regards to me not liking the Batman and talking about how the comics managed to still be enjoyable in either how the story plays out or how they present the character of Batman.
That brings us to Dark Nights: Metal #1.
This story begins with a brief rundown of[...]

Dark Nights: Metal #1 is finally out this week, and we see DC's big summer event finally start proper We've had the hints, the glancing blows from the Dark Days prologue issues, which gave us the shape of the idea, like a sonar blip on the map – but now we see it in[...]
Dark Nights: Metal artist Jonathan Glapion has posted some art from Dark Nights: Metal, and it contains a pretty shocking spoiler…
Here's a page from the book that Glapion tweeted this morning, in a now-deleted tweet:

Say what?
It looks like somebody has been reading our Tumblr slashfic, but they totally misunderstood what we meant by "fisting." Then[...]
The first part is establishing the new status quo after the Sinestro Corps revolt, and the other part is the setup and beginning of this book's Dark Knights: Metal tie-in with Orion and the massive celestials.
I keep calling them celestials; they're not yet named in this comic However, they strongly resemble the unnamed Celestials from[...]
They have sold for up to $40 on eBay as a result.
Well, that price is about to halve as DC Comics and Graphitti Designs are making Dark Nights: Metal Tour T-shirts available to the general public through comic book stores, where you will be only charged $20.
The shirts feature the Dark Nights: Metal promotional Batman[...]
We then got confirmation from writer Scott Snyder that Duke would be getting his own series spinning out of Dark Nights: Metal, and that the superhero would be going by the name of Signal.
Further to that, at SDCC, Snyder confirmed with Dan DiDio's permission on a panel that the book will be part of Dark[...]
Both DC Comics and Marvel Comics have made certain artwork available legally to top cakes at any of the Marvel Legacy or Dark Nights: Metal "parties" used to promote their first issue launches.
Here's how they could look Firstly, the DC Comics artwork for Metal… and the legal paperwork courtesy of Adam Phillips to let bakers[...]

Two more titles have been announced for DC's Dark Matter lineup at the DC Metal panel at San Diego Comic Con We just told you about The Terrifics, by Jeff Lemire and Ivan Reis, giving us the closest thing we're likely to get to a Fantastic Four comic for the foreseeable future Joining that book[...]
For another, it's hard to get fake muscles to be that large and still look realistic.
Still, one daring cosplayer was willing to take on the challenge: Dark Nights: Metal writer Scott Snyder! Snyder stepped out at the DC Metal panel at San Diego Comic-Con today cosplaying his creative partner, and the DC twitter account captured[...]
