Legends of Tomorrow S06E13: Sara Meets Her Match? Mick's "Big Event"?
Now that DC's Legends of Tomorrow fans have gotten their hands on the first official teaser trailer for the long-running Arrowverse series' sixth season return, it's time to turn our attention back to how production is rolling along. And as we've learned from covering production on HBO Max's third season of Titans, it's the folks behind the scenes that usually end up offering some of the best perspectives on what viewers can expect. A perfect example is Nico Sachse, director of S06E13 "Silence of the Sonograms" (written by Phil Klemmer & Morgan Faust). Earlier, we learned that production on the episode kicked off earlier this month- and now we're learning that filming wrapped on Thursday. But more than just offering a timeline of how filming is going, Sachse also offered some interesting notes along the way.
Here's a look at Sachse's four-post tour behind the scenes- beginning with the start of the week that finds "almost all of the" Legends on set. But apparently, Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory aka Heat Wave) is the one who has the "big event" that day- with the director having "no idea what [Dominic Purcell] is going to do with the sequence":
Here's a look at the 8th day of filming where the director teases that Sara (Caity Lotz) has a "big fight sequence" and that Sara might've met her match:
Next up, a look at the last day of filming- with Zari (Tala Ashe) involved in some "stunt action" before getting the assist from Astra (Olivia Swann) and Spooner (Lisseth Chavez):
Finally, official word on what we mentioned earlier: S06E13 has wrapped- next up, Maisie Richardson-Sellers takes the director's chair:
With their fearless leader captured by some really pesky aliens, our Legends are going to have to battle through time to not only get her back but also save the timestream from some nefarious alien plans. Here's your first official look at DC's Legends of Tomorrow, set to tackle time and space starting Sunday, May 2 (alongside Batwoman):

Lisseth Chavez (Chicago P.D., The OA) joins the long-running series in the series regular role of Esperanza "Spooner" Cruz. Tough and self-sufficient, Cruz is a tech whiz when it comes to detecting space aliens and providing defenses from them. Having survived a childhood encounter with an alien, Cruz now believes she can communicate telepathically with aliens. Aliyah O'Brien (Take Two, You Me Her) has been tapped for the recurring role of fearsome warrior Kayla. Known for her high body count and low patience for human incompetence, Kayla will be put through her paces working with and against our Legends as she's certainly not used to messing anything up much less for the better.
