Missed The Leaked Overwatch: Insurrection Trailer? We've Got Rundown For You
Last week Blizzard revealed that they would be hosting a new Overwatch event with a pretty vague tweet giving us a few hints as to the event, but mostly just a date. April 11th was the date in the tweet, but it looks like the trailer for the event hit early on the Playstation France Youtube channel. Since the video has been pulled, we won't be showing it to you, but it is out there if you'd like to find it.
The salient points from the trailer were pretty simple, however. The event will run from tomorrow, April 11th to May 1st. The trailer featured a battle between the Omnics and a team of Tracer, Mercy, Reinhardt, and Torbjörn. That battle was set seven years prior to the start of Overwatch and is, presumably, the PVE mode for the event. Tracer, Mercy, Reinhardt, and Torbjörn were showing off their blue "Agents of Overwatch" skins, and the event also looks like it will be bringing back some of the Blackwatch outfits for McCree and Genji alongside new skins for Widowmaker and Orisa.
Those blue skins were leaked over the weekend, which really makes you wonder if these leaks were intentional. Either way, looks like we'll be having some fun in Overwatch for the next few weeks during Insurrection.
