Diamond Select Toys introduces a spectacular yet deadly new statue of Venom, inspired by his menacing appearance in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 video game. In Marvel Comics, Venom is a monstrous fusion of Eddie Brock and an alien symbiote, which first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #300. Known for his lethal protectiveness over Brock and a deep-seated hatred for Spider-Man, Venom possesses enhanced strength, agility, and the ability to generate organic webbing. However, in this new Insomniac version, it is Peter Parker's childhood friend, Harry Osbourne, who wears this symbiote to help him cure his genetic disease. Soon, the symbiote would twist Harry's thoughts against Peter, creating an all-out war for New York City.

Diamond Select has captured the terror of Venom with this massive 13" tall statue. All of the details from the game are nicely crafted here, from the hulking body sculpt and extended tendrils to the menacing face with elongated tongue and teeth. Collectors can even pair this piece with the other Diamond Select Toys Marvel's Spider-Man 2 statues with Spidey and Morales to create a deadly diorama. Gamerverse Venom is priced at $85. He is set for a Q1 2025 release, and pre-orders are already online.
