A brand new DC Direct x McFarlane Toys statue has been revealed as they turn back the clock with everyone's favorite Caped Crusader. Detective Comics #27 was published all the way back in May 1939, and it marked the debut of Batman, created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. The legendary issue introduced readers to Bruce Wayne's alter ego, the Dark Knight, in the story titled," The Case of the Chemical Syndicate" This story follows Batman as he investigates the murder of a chemical company owner, leading to a plot surrounding by betrayal and greed.
The comic features an iconic cover, and now McFarlane Toys is bringing Batman's 1st appearance to life with a brand new 1:10 scale statue standing 17" tall. This hand-numbers and limited editor statue faithfully recreates that iconic cover with the Dark Knight shining in the skies with his classic cowl and blue-trimmed bat suit.
