Batman Murder Machine and The Grim Knight Join McFarlane Toys

McFarlane Toys has shown off more additions to their line of DC Comics figures. We continue to stay in the realm of Batman as two darker versions of the dark knight surface. Coming out of the hit DC Comics storylines Dark Nights: Metal and The Batman Who Laughs, Murder Machine, and The Grim Knight are here. For those not familiar with Murder Machine, it is a version where an A.I. Alfred took over. After the death of the famous butler, Bruce fell into a dark spiral which led to him asking Cyborg to create an A.I. Alfred. This Alfred hologram was more than they bargained as it took over Batman's mind and became a true Murder Machine. McFarlane Toys brings this Cyborg Bat to life in their newest wave who is sporting a black and blue bat suit with an attachment of technological vines coming from his hand. The detail on this figure perfectly captures the comic book version and would be a great addition to any Dark Night: Metal fans collection. The next figure is from the Batman Who Laughs DC Comics story. This is a version of Batman who loves his guns. In this alternate version, Bruce used the gun of his parent's killer to kill him instead. This lead Bruce down a darker path where he favored guns over most tools. This figure is prime McFarlane Toys as he is locked and loaded with accessories. He will come with a germane launcher, a submachine gun, and two bundles of larger guns for his back. The swish of this figure is nicely done and would be a perfect figure for any fan of the series.

I am quite surprised that McFarlane Toys has gone this route with there line. You would think that they would want to release a normal Cyborg before they release a Cyborg/Batman fusion figure. This line was supposed to expand the DC Multiverse and it seems that Batman is the front runner of this line. However, the Dark Nights: Metal storyline was a huge success and only DC Collectibles made any sort of collectibles for these designs it will honestly be nice to get my hands on these figures and pose them how I would like rather than a +$80 statue. Both Murder Machine and The Grim Knight Batman Figures from McFarlane Toys will be priced at $19.99. Pre-orders are not live just yet but you will be able to find them here once they go live. What other DC Comics figures should McFarlane Toys create next?

"Hailing from Earth -44 in the Dark Multiverse, this Dark Knight was born when an all-powerful A.I. program designed by Cyborg began to misinterpret its coding to homicidal ends. A cybernetic nightmare, The Murder Machine is a metallic mangling of the technological power of Cyborg and the tactical brilliance of Batman, formed by ever-changing nanobots."
