Mondo Brings the Funk with Masters of the Universe 1/6 Disco Skeletor

Skeletor is ready to drop the beat and hit the dance floor as his “Disco” Masters of the Universe variant is coming soon to Mondo 

One of the most intriguing things about Masters of the Universe is that its history is not built around a show or comic but the toy line itself. The show did help sell toys and teach kids about Eternia and its growing world of good versus evil. However, some of the best history are with the toys include toy design, mistaken figures like Wun-Dar, or different variants like Disco Skeletor. It was back during the Masters of the Universe 200x series that Mattel was shifting to the Snakemen figures. Skeleton returned to shelves but with a funk-driven new deco, switching out his purple and green design to a sleek orange and black. This filler figure was not liked at the time of release, but since then, Disco Skeletor has gained its own popularity, and now Mondo is taking it one step further.

Mondo is bringing their 1/6 scale Masters of the Universe line to DesignerCon and with Disco Skeletor! Limited to only 1,000 pieces, this powerhouse is ready to take down He-Man and control Eternia with an iron fist. He will come with two heads with Modern and Classic sculpts, as well as his Havoc Staff, Power Sword, Terror Claws, and some swappable hands. Disco Skeletor will not last long and he is priced at $235 and will arrive online at Mondo on Friday, December 15 at 1 PM EST.
