New Star Wars Empire Strikes Black Series Figures Announced by Hasbro

Hasbro Pulse has announced the next wave in the Star Wars Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary Black Series line. All of these figures are just simple repacks but it gives fans some updated features for some of their favorite figures. 6 figures have been announced 5 of which are 40th-anniversary figures and the last is a 40th figure getting new Black Series packaging. To start things off we are joining the Empire this these upcoming 3 releases. First up is the figure that started it all with his SDCC variant, Boba Fett. This is a fan-favorite character that just continues to keep gaining hype. He will come with 2 blasters and will feature his classic card back. Next up is the Imperial Snowtrooper who is ready to take on the Rebels on Hoth. He features an updated mold and sculpts from his 2016 course part. Loaded with a nice Empire card back and 2 guns this Snowtrooper will take on anything the Rebellion throws at him. The last figure from the Empire is the man main himself, Darth Vader. This figure will feature a newly updated sculpting. With updates on his belt, chest, fabric cape, and comes with his red lightsaber. His card back will be accurate to his original Kenner release as well. Each of these figures will be priced at $19.99 and are set up to release in Fall 2019. Pre-orders for these Star Wars will go live tomorrow at 11 am on Hasbro Pulse so make sure you secure your figure today.

The last three Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary are from the Rebel Alliance. Two figures will feature card backs while the last get a repackaging in the new Black Series Box. First up is Chewbacca who will be getting a solo release compared to his Empire Strikes Back dual back with C-3PO. The repacking in this figure brings back his card back and he comes with his bowcaster. The next figure is also getting g a new solo release as Dagobah Luke Skywalker is here to train. This figure is also bundled up with Yoda for a special Black Series pack. Luke will come in his training outfit and his blue lightsaber. He will feature an original no card back as he next had one before in the Kenner series. The last figure that Hasbro covered is the hugely popular Hoth Rebel Soldier. This figure flew off shelves during his release and he is back but with new packaging. He will be in the newly redesigned Black Series box that features side art. The Solider will come with some nice accessories like his blaster, googles, and face wrap. This is one figure that fans will want to army build so pre-order them while you can. All three of these Rebel Alliance Star Wars Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary figures will be priced at $19.99.
